Metal Basketweave

One of LaS’s signature techniques, featured in the Fruition and Monogram 001 series. Each piece is hand-carved from a single piece of metal into a self-supporting sculptural sphere, creating an intricate woven structure without glue or hardware. The strength of metal, expressed through the softness of woven form.

Twisted Forming

By varying the direction, curvature, and tension of each twist, LaS explores the sculptural possibilities of metal. From soft knots and organic botanical curves to rope-like structures, each variation creates new relationships between line, proportion, and volume.

Beaded Edge

Drawing from the traditional beaded-edge technique of classical metalwork, fine metal beads are individually formed and arranged along the contours of each piece. Like hand-piped cream, the delicate edging softens the rationality of metal structure, balancing classical refinement with contemporary minimalism.
